How do I make an order?

You can make your order in 5 simple steps:

  1. Visit Shop Now.
  2. Select your preferred terrarium shape.
  3. Select the size followed by the style of the terrarrium (i.e. Minimalist/Tropical)
  4. Add your order to the cart and proceed to check out.
  5. Make payment via the online payment gateway. Upon successful payment your order will be processed.

Do I need an account to make a purchase?

No, you can make a purchase as a guest. However, we would encourage you to create an account with us as it will allow you to check your order and receive news on our latest products and special promotions.

How do i use a discount code?

While in the shopping cart, apply the discount code in the ‘Apply Code’ field > Click on ‘Add’. The subtotal will be updated once the discount code is applied successfully. If you have difficulties while doing so:

  1. Check if the discount code is still within its validity period.
  2. If the discount code is valid but you are unable to apply it, please email us at  enquiries@theorijean.com. We will get in touch with you as soon as we can! 

If the products are out of stock, can I still make an order?

If you are keen in an item that is out of stock, please drop us a message via the live chat or email us at enquiries@theorijean.com We may proceed to arrange for a pre-order for you.  Please note that this option may be subjected to a longer period of delivery and any other changes.

How many days in advance should I make my order?

Please order 3 days in advance to your intended delivery date. This is to give us ample time to prepare your terrarium and to allow the plants to settle in their new home.

Can I amend or cancel my order after confirmation?

To ensure that your order is smoothly processed and promptly delivered, we are unable to amend or cancel your order after confirmation.

What are the available shipping methods?

All online orders will be delivered either by local courier service (i.e. Singpost) or by our very own internal courier service.

Do you ship internationally?

Our products are currently available in Singapore only. We do not ship internationally as of the moment and will only be available in the near future. Do subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated about our latest products and opening of international shipping in near future.

When will I receive by order?

Orders With Plant Terrariums
Orders that include plant terrariums purchase will be delivered by our very own courier services. You will be able to select delivery dates during checkout.

Orders Without Plant Terrariums (i.e. plant supplies only)
Orders that does not involve live plants are delivered via local courier services (i.e. Speedpost). Your purchase should be delivered within 3 -5 working days from the date of your purchase.


I have not receive my order

If you have not received your order pass the time of your delivery date or the estimated date of arrival as per stated above. Please seek assistance via our live chat service or message us on via our Facebook page.


Do I get to choose what goes into my terrarium?

The display photos are for referencing purposes only. The design of the terrariums are unique and crafted according to the plants available for the day. However, you may indicate the style you prefer in the option field and state your preference for certain plants/decorative items in the ‘Remarks (if any)’ field and we will try our best to meet your request.

How many plants will there be in my terrarium?

The number of plants varies according to the size of the terrarium and the chosen style.

How long will my terrarium last?

With adequate care, your terrarium can last for a long time. If the plants get too tall, trim it gently with a pair of scissors.

How do I take care of my terrarium?

For cacti and succulents, water once every week. It is good to let it dry out once in a whileFor leafy plants, water once every 2 days. Do not pour water directly on to the plants, pour it near the roots instead. 

If your plants grow to the top of the terrarium, you can trim it gently with a pair of scissors. Do not fertilize your terrarium as you do not want to encourage growth. 


Do you deliver on specific dates or timings?

Yes, we do! Simply indicate your interest by selecting the date and time upon checkout.

Why do I have to wait 3 days before my terrarium is delivered?

Please order 3 days in advance to your intended delivery date. This is to give us ample time to prepare your terrarium and to allow the plants to settle in their new home.


Are there any delivery fees?

You can choose to have your terrariums delivered to you or self collected.
There is a flat rate of SGD 5 charged for one time door-to-door delivery.
In the event of no answer during delivery, re-delivery request is chargeable.

What are the available modes of payment?

Currently we only accept online payment; Paypal & credit card payment (i.e. Visa, Mastercard etc.) are accepted. Please note that all prices displayed are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

Is it safe to buy online?

Maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information is of utmost importance to us. The Orijean employs Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and Paypal Payment Gateway to ensure transactions are processed safely. Be rest assured that your transactions are safe.

How do I know if my payment is successful?

You should receive a confirmation email upon completing payment for the order. If you face any difficulties, please email us with your order number at enquiries@theorijean.com. We will get in touch with you as soon as we can!

How do I Complete Order by Bank Transfer Method?

You will receive an invoice email from us when you select “Bank Transfer” method during checkout.

Make full payment (within 24hrs) for the amount payable directly into our bank account via Fast and Secure Transfers (FAST):

Can I return my purchase?

We hope that you’ll be completely satisfied with your purchase at The Orijean. Because live plants are subject to variable conditions, we’re not able to offer an exchange or refund.

What if my plants wither?

We ask that you take extra care with your living plants as they are perishable and subject to variable conditions such as weather, transportation, soil quality, watering, and positioning in your garden. Acceptance of our plant products at the time of sale is considered proof of good health and survivability. If a plant arrives damaged, dead, or does not meet your expectations, we will replace it free of charge.


How do I signup for a workshop?
Sign up for a workshop session by purchasing workshop pass from The Orijean’s workshop page:

  2. Select your preferred location and date given the available dates
  3. Check out to purchase the workshop pass

You will be sent workshop pass bearing a unique serial number no later than 2 weeks before the date of workshop.

How many pax is each workshop pass valid for?

Each workshop pass is only valid for 1 pax  [for entry and participation].
Every additional accompanying person will require a workshop pass.
In the event of violation by any of the participant for the above instance, The Orijean reserve the right to deny him/her from joining the workshop.

Am I able to transfer my workshop pass to someone else?

Each workshop pass bears a unique serial number, which will be sent to you no later than 2 weeks before the date of workshop.
You can transfer your your workshop pass if desired. Attendance will be taken based on the unique serial number.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds for any cancellations upon your purchase/payment. Cancellations or no-show will be counted as a used lesson.

Can I request for a bigger terrarium?

Yes, your can request for bigger terrarium subjected to additional charges. The add-ons/upgrades can be made during signup or during the workshop.

Do I need to bring anything for the terrarium workshop?

All materials and tools required are provided, as such there is no need for you to bring any tools or extra materials. If you wish to bring home a set of our planting tools you can request for an add-on during sign up or during the workshop, subjected to additional charges.

Punctuality & Attendance.

The workshop will start on time with no delays. The reception will start 15 minutes before the workshop, do arrive early to register you attendance. Series of our products will be placed on display at the waiting area; so arrive early and get some inspiration for your own terrarium before the workshop start!
