Delivery

Plant terrarium orders will be delivered by our in-house courier services. You will be able to select the delivery dates at the checkout page. The Orijean will not be liable for any delays in delivery caused by provision of incorrect delivery information by the Customer (for instance but not limited to where postal code does not tally with provided address). Additional redelivery charges will apply in such cases.

Day/Time:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (10am – 6.00pm)

Delivery charges (Zone A – $5, Zone B – $10, Zone C – $15) for a one time door-to-door delivery depends on the delivery address.  Once you have entered the delivery address, the delivery charges will be calculated automatically. In the event of a no answer during delivery, re-delivery request is available at additional charges.

 

Self Collection
Day/Time: Wednesday (8.00pm – 8.30pm), Friday (12pm – 12.30pm), Sunday (1.00pm – 1.15pm)

There are no charges for self-collection. In the event of a no show during self-collection, buyer will need to schedule another appointment at additional charges.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a lead time for orders?
Please order 3 days in advance to your intended delivery date. This is to provide us with sufficient time to prepare your terrarium. 

 

However, if you do need an order urgently, we are able to expedite it for you. Simply top up $20 for express processing and receive your terrarium promptly.

 

Urgent processing may be available subjected to availability and surcharges. Speak to our customer service officers via our Live Chat system for assistance

Am I able to do a pre-order?
All our products are made to order. Pre-orders are only available during promotions or on request (seek assistance from our customer service officers).
Do I get to choose what goes into my terrarium?
;The design of the terrariums are unique and crafted according to the plants available for the day. With varying plant sizes and shapes, our terrarium artist will mix and match the best choices for your terrariums. As such, it is not possible to choose specific plants when ordering. You may however indicate the types of plants or decorative items you prefer under the ‘Remarks (if any)’ field and we will try our best to meet your request.
How many plants will there be in my terrarium?
The number of plants varies according to the size of the terrarium and the chosen style. A rough guide is as follows:

Large : 3-4
Medium: 2-3
Small: 1-2

Are these closed terrariums?
We do not carry closed terrariums. Our products are all open or partially-open terrariums.
Is customisation possible?
At The Orijean, each of our terrarium is unique in its own way as they are made to order with a minimalistic design concept. We would recommend going only for minimal customisation e.g. colour of stones preferred/requesting for a space to place figurines or wedding rings. This can be done by leaving a remark under the “Additional Options ” section when making your purchase. Please consult our customer service personnels on our live chat system found on the bottom right of the screen prior to sending in your order.
Can I place my terrarium indoors?
Yes, you may place your terrariums indoors, preferably near a window where there is some sunlight and an airy breeze. However, the terrariums are also suitable for an office environment with artificial light. You may also place your terrarium outdoors under a shelter where it will not get any rain.
How do I care for my terrarium?
For cacti and succulents, water once every week. It is good to let the soil dry out once in a while. For leafy plants, water once every 2 days. Do not water directly on to the plants but water near the roots instead. 

For air plants, water once daily as they love water! You may water directly on the plant.

If your plant grows to the top of the terrarium, trim it gently with a pair of scissors. Do not fertilize your terrarium as you do not want to encourage growth.
